Indian Palm Leaf Weaving

During my trip to India in February 2023, I did not only visit big cities like Bangalore or Mysore. I also had the complete contrast experience

in the countryside, at the Chiguru Organic Farm. In both enviroments though, I kept noticing woven roofs made of coconut palm leaves.

During my time at the Chiguru farm I eventually had the opportunity to learn the traditional technique. 

Performing the various steps with such a mighty plant and my bare hands was a very touching and sublime experience in my way of working.
